The Idiots Guide to having a web presence for less than $10

I was pondering the question, "Who has the resources and money required to build and develop a web presence?" There has to be a better way, Right? Enter Wordpress. (I have no tie to WordPress nor is this a paid advertisement.) I purchaced a domain name. I used the free hosting they provided. I downloaded the Wordpress files. I uploaded them via the host provided ftp client and BAM a website! Yes it is involved setting it up but I have a fully operational website! I even went so far to get a free shopping cart that links to paypal. I spent a whopping $10 for a domain name and I have a Website! Holy Cow! Neways I Hope you have found this helpful.
Do a web search for Wordpress and go from there!
